1)Physicians select patients,determine whether the patient is fit for EECP treatment and excluded patients with contraindictations.

2)Do not eat or drink too much one hour before treatment,and urination before treatment.

3)According to the weather,suggest patients to wear different thickness of knitted underwear(long soft pants)

4)Record patient’s heart rate,body temperature,breath and blood pressure before treatment

5)Help patient lie on the treatment bed,Clean skin where need stick ECG electrodes with 75% alcohol.After alcohol vapor away,Stick ECG electrodes then connect them to ECG cable.Place SPO2 sensor to patient’s first finger.If patients with thick body hair,need to shave off before attaching electrodes.

6)Wrap the cuffs around the calves,thighs and buttocks tightly and neatly,without wrinkles.

7)Turn on the machine,observe Heart wave and SPO2 in normal display.Set treatment time and begin with low pressure,for example 180mmHG.Ask patient to relex.They can sleep or listen to the music.

8)Physician should always patrol patient and observe treatment,Record treatment datas when necessary.

9)Equipped with basic rescue drugs and equipment in treatment centre.

10)Pay attention to keep warm when patient receiving treatment,Cover patient with proper quilt.

11)When finished treatment,patient can lie on the bed 5 minutes longer,then drink some warm water or have some cookies.

12)Ask and record patient’s feeling after treatment,record patient’s data and information in treatment.

13)Clean ECG wire and SPO2 sensor,and make sure the cuffs without residual gas.

15)Please don’t drag ECG and Spo2 cables while doing ECP treatment.Tidy up the cables after treatment.
